Founder of Virage-Viager, Eric was instrumental in the launch of the mutualized viager solution in the French real estate market. Eric spent over 25 years at the top management in social security and insurance industry in France and he was last head of business development and member of the executive committee at PROBTP, the pension fund for construction professionals. Both his extensive experience in pension fund business and his deep network within the senior segment were critical in the decision to focus the investment community onto the real estate owned by the retirees. His financial saviness as well as his creativeness allowed him to find the perfect product for both parties: the mutualized viager solution. In parallel to running Virage-Viager, Eric was Chairman of COREMIMMO from 2012 to 2015, in charge of structuring and managing a dedicated mutualized viager investment vehicle with 40M€ under management. The project launched by a French pension fund has been widely perceived as an innovative solution and won several awards.

Eric holds an MS degree in Public Accounting and an MS degree in Business and Fiscal Law from university of Bordeaux, France.
